Abstract

Environmental problems are based on anthropogenic changes, industrial activity, and an irresponsible attitude towards the environment, also reflected in economic indicators. Natural ecosystems provide the primary life support services on which the level of development of the state economy depends. However, profit-oriented economic agents can use these services for free; therefore, they have little or no value. With irrational environmental management, payment is deferred for the loss of non-renewable resources. If moratoriums are not limited, there will be a decrease in the quality of the ecosystem, an increase in diseases, a decrease in soil fertility and loss of resources. The article examines the main ways to improve environmental and economic indicators in Ukraine, taking into account existing trends in the greening of society and the activities of business structures with an environmental footprint. A set of actions has been developed to improve Ukraine's innovative potential based on the use of the latest digital systems and technological modernization of production. It is concluded that the psychological and emotional components are essential to forming consumer economic behaviour. In contrast, in the formation of environmental psychology, an important aspect is the formation and imitation of environmental behaviour.
